Michelle Ivey is an Instructional Assistant at Rowland-Norment Elementary in Lumberton, NC.  She has been employed by the Public Schools of Robeson County for the past ten years and during this time she has served as a library assistant, special needs assistant, and currently works with students in First Grade.  Assisting over forty students daily during the reading block, she feels she has made a difference in several of her student's lives.  Outside of working at Rowland-Norment she serves as the Production Assistant/Business Manager for the Children's Theater Arts Program through the Public Schools of Robeson County.  Michelle has a passion for working with students, and assists the two teachers she is assigned to in order to meet the needs of their students.  She is the wife of Michael Ivey, and the proud mother of Colton Ivey.
