Sharon Best holds the dual position of Instructional Assistant and Bus Driver at West Greene Elementary School in the Greene County School system. Prior to coming to West Greene, Sharon held similar positions at both Snow Hill Primary and Greene County Intermediate School. Ms. Best is active in the local, district, and state levels of NCATA. She has served as the President as well as the Vice-President of the Greene County Association of Teacher Assistants, and as the NCATA-District 2 President. Sharon enjoys being a mother and grandmother, and has a passion for working with students with special needs. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education.
